Nicholas Birch
Nicholas is the Managing Director of
Koorb Consulting. He has over 35 years of experience in the
successful deployment of ERP, CRM and BI solutions.
Nicholas joined Koorb in 2003 and has been instrumental in
building the company into the market leader it is today. He is
involved in developing the company's strategy, leading the
business, managing relationships with both Microsoft and
Independent Software Vendors (ISV's), business development, and
helping our customers improve their business performance through
the successful deployment of Microsoft solutions.
Prior to Koorb, Nicholas spent 15 years both as a
Management Consulting Partner with KPMG and a Managing Director
with BearingPoint. Nicholas is a Chartered Accountant, a
Certified Management Consultant and a member of the Institute of
Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Mark Green
Mark is one of Koorb's Business Development Managers and is key
in developing strategies and solutions for Koorb customers.
Mark joined Koorb over 10 years ago and has been working with
Microsoft Dynamics AX since its initial release in New Zealand
under the name Axapta. His extensive knowledge of business process
and Microsoft Dynamics AX enables Mark to quickly understand
customer requirements, and to develop proposals to improve their
business through the use of Microsoft solutions. With over 30
implementations under his belt Mark is highly respected in the
industry for his depth of experience across a wide variety of
businesses and industries.
Prior to consulting, Mark spent 10 years in accounting and
business analyst roles with commercial and manufacturing
organisations in both New Zealand and abroad.
Mark is a Chartered Accountant, with a Bachelor of Business
Studies (Accounting) and a Diploma of Business Studies (Information
Systems), and is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in
Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Roger Clearwater
Roger is charged with leading Koorb's substantial Microsoft
Dynamics AX project delivery team as well as directly managing
several key projects. He has a considerable depth of
experience across IT consulting, management, project management,
system implementations and financial and HR management.
With his knowledge of multiple ERP packages across a
variety of client types, Roger has a thorough understanding and
appreciation of business processes. He has a strong personal
commitment to taking ownership of projects through to
their successful completion.
Roger is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our
customer's implementation and upgrade projects are planned and
executed in a manner that will lead to meeting their goals within
the established time frame and budget and to a high degree of
customer satisfaction. This includes scheduling and coordinating
project resources and managing the project issues and risks.
Roger has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) and is a member
of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Paul Shepherd
Paul manages both our Microsoft Dynamics AX Development and
Project Management Office teams.
The Development team has 10 staff over our Auckland,
Wellington and Dunedin offices, making it the largest in New
Zealand. The PMO team is responsible for the successful
delivery of all Dyanmics AX, Dynamics CRM, BI (Business
Intelligence) and SharePont projects.
Paul has over 15 years of experience in development, management
and consulting, and for the last 10 years he has specialised in
Microsoft Dynamics ERPs. His in-depth experience has supported him
in effectively managing both customer expectations for a high
standard of project delivery and leading a multi-talented team
across several cities. Paul's professional and methodical approach
has been key to the smooth delivery of many projects, including
those where he has been technical lead on a number of substantial
projects.
Paul has conjoint degrees in Computer Science (BSc) and Finance
(BCom) and application and technical certifications across multiple
Dynamics (AX and Nav) and Microsoft products (SQL Server).
